About Teeth.com
A clearer starting point for your dental questions.
Teeth.com helps you explore dental topics, understand common options, and prepare questions for your next dental visit. The website brings together short educational guides, treatment videos, guide search, and a way to find nearby dental offices.
Built on decades of dental experience
Teeth.com was created by a retired dentist with more than 40 years of clinical experience in the heart of Silicon Valley. The aim is to make dental information easier to understand, so you can have a more informed conversation about your care.
Our focus is explaining treatment choices, the questions worth asking and the practical details to consider when paying for care.
How we prepare our content
We use dental experience, published dental references and AI-assisted tools to develop guides and illustrations. Sources are linked so you can read more. A source-check date means the references were checked; it does not mean a dentist has individually approved every statement or image.
Guides awaiting individual clinical review are identified on the page. When a review is completed, the page should record its reviewer and review date. Your own dentist remains the right person to interpret information for your mouth.
Start with a dental guide
Our dental guides cover everyday care, gum health, children’s dentistry, implants, aligners, cosmetic dentistry, whitening, and veneers. Each includes links to source information and questions you can bring to an appointment. The guides are general education and do not replace an examination or personal advice.
Ask Teeth.com is currently unavailable
The AI question tool is disabled. While it is disabled, this website does not send questions to OpenAI or generate AI answers. You can still browse and search our dental guides and use their suggested questions to prepare for a conversation with your dentist.
Guide search helps you find existing educational content; it does not provide a diagnosis or a personal answer. Keep searches general and do not enter private health information.
Find a dental office
Find a Dentist opens Google Maps results for your chosen city or ZIP code and type of care. Google provides the listings and their order. Teeth.com does not verify, rank, or endorse individual offices. Contact the office directly to confirm its services, availability, insurance, and fees.
Our history
Teeth.com was featured in PC World’s May 1996 issue as a free nationwide dentist directory. Today, we’re building on that history to help people understand their dental options.
A note about the images
Images are illustrative, including AI-generated imagery. They do not represent actual Teeth.com patients, providers, testimonials, or guaranteed treatment results.
